The Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board made a couple of individuals holidays a little brighter.

Nicole Gohn of Jefferson was the adult winner of the Tag-A-Tree drawing and Shelby Finley of Jefferson was the children’s winner. Each won $25 in Greene County Chamber and Tourism Bucks. The two submitted their wishes and hung them on their respective trees during the night of the Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony held earlier this month.

Over 40 people submitted their names and wishes. The Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board then drew a name from the adult and children’s trees. It is the third year that the Board has done the Tag-A-Tree event and the winners were given their Chamber Bucks on December 23rd, so they could spend it right before Christmas.
