City of Perry

Another Christmas has come and gone, and for Perry residents needing to dispose of their live Christmas trees, the City reminds people they have pick-up days scheduled in January for that purpose.

The annual City of Perry Christmas tree pick-up will be held on the second and third Wednesdays of the new year. Perry residents who have regular garbage service can place evergreen trees, garlands, and wreaths on their curb on January 9th and 16th. The greenery must have all decorations removed, and it is not to be placed in disposal bags. To ensure pick-up, residents should have the items placed on the curb by 7 a.m. There is no cost to take part in the Christmas tree pick-up, as it’s a service included in the City’s garbage bills.

Anyone with questions about the tree collection can contact Perry City Hall at 515-465-2481.
