Time is running out to submit nominations for the 2018 Above and Beyond the Call (ABC) Award for Greene County.

The recipient is recognized at the Greene County Chamber and Tourism Annual Dinner, which is scheduled for January 29th. Chamber and Tourism Interim Director Michael Reese says the award is given to an individual or a couple who through their personal involvement and leadership qualities have given their time and talent and positively benefited the community.

“We have so many good individuals that do so much for the community but they don’t always get recognized and usually they’re not trying to get recognized. So this is a great way to nominate those unsung heroes and to get them the recognition that they deserve.”

Nomination forms are available at the Chamber office or by emailing the Chamber at chamber@greenecountyiowa.com. All nomination forms must be submitted to the Chamber office by January 11th at 3pm.
