The public is invited to enjoy homemade soups and desserts while also helping out a good cause this month.

The Minburn Emergency Rescue Team is hosting a free-will donation soup and dessert lunch fundraiser on Saturday, January 26th. Attendees will be treated to chili, potato, and split pea soup, as well as a variety of desserts and drinks in exchange for a donation of any size. Proceeds from the lunch will be used to acquire emergency equipment and help pay for training for the Minburn First Responders. The event will be held at the Minburn United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., and the public can attend any time during that period.
