The public is invited to support two local organizations at a dinner and auction in Yale.

The Yale Community Club and Timber Creek Charities are hosting the annual scholarship supper and auction fundraiser. The Yale Community Club hosts the dinner to raise funds for $500 scholarships to be given to graduating high school Yale residents. This is the third year they have partnered with Timber Creek Charities for the live and silent auction. Timber Creek Charities is a non-profit entity that helps cover expenses for disabled patients who can’t afford services provided at Timber Creek Therapies in Guthrie Center.

Yale Community Club Board Member Scott Fredrickson shares why they ask for the public’s support, “For starters it really does support the scholarship program and the kids in and around Yale. And number two, Timber Creek Charities their foundation is just a great organization. It really helps kids from all around probably the four or five county area, because I know that kids come in from all over to take therapy at Timber Creek. So there’s no better way to get out and support the people that really need support in your county and the surrounding county area.”

The event begins with a social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, January 12th at the Yale Community Building. The dinner is catered by Lidderdale Country Store, and lemonade and tea will be provided, but attendees can bring their own beverage. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Timber Creek Therapies and Farmers State Bank in Yale.
