The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene throughout the day today for their special budget workshops, though there will be one action item.
The first workshop of the day will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel, and it involves the Human Resources Department. In addition to the budget discussions, the Board will also appoint an interim HR Director. Previous Director Erin Freeman announced her resignation at Tuesday’s meeting, and her immediate replacement will be chosen this morning. Budget workshops through the rest of the day include: the Sheriff’s Office at 10 a.m.; the Secondary Roads Department at 1 p.m.; and the Auditor’s Office at 2:30. Each workshop is open to the public.
