Community members were honored as royalty during the Panorama School District’s seventh annual Snowcoming.

As part of a weeklong celebration of community service, students and staff were encouraged to nominate community members by writing 300 words or less why they believe their nominee deserves recognition for their time, commitment, and support to Panorama Schools. This year’s Snowcoming royalty were Jane Windal, Bagley Public Library Director Jeannie Solorzano, Maribee Burnham with the Linden Public Library, Panora Public Library Director Kim Finnegan, as well as Ellen Campbell, and Joann Huggins. Windal was recognized for her 13 years of volunteerism at the elementary; Solorzano, Burnham, and Finnegan were recognized for their help during the Panorama Summer Lunch Program; and Campbell and Huggins were recognized for their help with the new student sewing club and the District’s annual Day of Service. Snowcoming is organized by the Panorama High School Student Council.
