9:37am: A deputy investigated a semi that had cut a turn too short and rolled onto its side at 190th Street and A Avenue. Aaron Schulz 44 of Breda was the driver of the semi that was totaled in the accident.
3:49pm: a deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a domestic in the 700 block of West Harrison Street.
4:40pm: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 300 block of Lovejoy Street, Rippey.
4:53pm: Gretta Halterman 18 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for false application for a license or ID.
4:54pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street and A Avenue.
11:58pm: A deputy assisted Carroll County with a pursuit on 190th Street. The vehicle was lost.
Saturday, February 9th
2:21am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest at the Wild Rose Casino.
3:48am: James Mosley 46 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail for driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance 1st offense.
6:59am: The Sheriff, a deputy, Grand Junction Fire, Jefferson Fire, Rippey Fire, and Paton Fire responded to a house fire at 313 East Main Street, Grand Junction. The residence was a total loss.
12:57pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 400 block of South 9th Street, Grand Junction.
2:37pm: A deputy investigated an accident on 220th Street near W Avenue. Michael Roesch 57 of Ogden crossed the center line into the west bound traffic lane. Cory Heiman 44 of Carroll swerved to miss the other vehicle and ended up in the ditch. There was no damage to either vehicle. Michael was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
3:26pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 800 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.
6:46pm: Samantha Henderson 26 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a Guthrie County warrant for operating while under the influence 1st offense.
Sunday, February 10th
1:00am: Sheila Madson 56 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense.
6:51am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a suspicious person in the 1000 block of West Adams Street.
8:58am: A deputy investigated a vehicle in the ditch on U Avenue just north of 220th Street. The vehicle was not located.
9:55am: A deputy assisted a jailer with an inmate in the jail.
12:55pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near Oakland Avenue.
1:30pm: A deputy was called to Churdan by the city to write snow ordinance violations.
7:20pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 800 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
