(Update 12:10 p.m.) A balanced scoring effort coupled with a stingy defense led the Panorama Panther boys basketball team to a double-digit conference road win to close the regular season. Panorama made a Saturday road trip to Ogden for a makeup West Central Activites Conference contest against the Bulldogs. Four Panther players scored 12 or more points, and Panorama allowed 26 points through three quarters to Ogden in a 62-51 victory. Sophomore Zach Rizzuti closed the regular season with a team-best 16 points. Junior Malachi Peasley poured in 14 points, junior Kolby Shackleford added 13, and senior Gracen Welburg chipped in 12.

The win pushes Panorama’s overall record one game over .500 at 11-10. Tonight’s Class 2A District 13 contest between Panorama and West Central Valley has been postponed to Tuesday, February 12, due to winter weather forecasted for the listening area. The Panthers and Wildcats are the second game of a playoff doubleheader in Stuart, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the first round game between Mount Ayr and AC/GC. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will broadcast both games on True Country K 107.9 FM, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF mobile app with pregame coverage starting around 6:15 p.m.
