Are you looking for a way to beat the winter blues?

The Panora Public Library is offering a new book club for men and women on Wednesday evenings. The club plans to meet the third Wednesday of each month from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and their first meeting will be on February 20th. Panora Library Director Kim Finnegan says the meeting is open to all newcomers, “This will be a meet-and-greet one, anybody’s invited to come to this. They will decide at that time what they’re going to read in the future.”

Finnegan says this club is ideal for those who can’t make it to their Pageturners Book Club that meets Friday mornings. If you’re looking for another way to amp up your reading this year, the library is also holding a six books in four months challenge, from now through May 15th.
