The regular season ended on a high note Thursday evening for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity boys basketball team. ADM hosted the Newton Cardinals of the Little Hawkeye Conference for the final tuneup before the playoffs begin next week. ADM closed the regular season with a 78-58 triumph of the Cardinals. Sophomore Nate Mueller poured in a team-high 17 points in the victory. ADM enters the postseason with a 12-9 overall record, a nine-win improvement from last season. The Tigers begin their postseason journey in Gilbert Monday, facing the North Polk Comets in a Class 3A Substate 7 quarterfinals.
