Winter weather is continuing to affect road conditions throughout the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area, and there is a tow ban currently in effect.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, the tow ban includes Dallas, Boone, and Story counties until further notice. They also report that Highway 141 from Dallas to Guthrie County is currently partially covered with ice, blowing snow, and drifting snow, as is Highway 169 between Ogden and Adel. Additionally, Highway 44 between Dallas Center and Panora, Highway 144 between Perry and Gowrie, Highway 30 between Ogden and Carroll, Highway 25 between Scranton and Guthrie Center, and Highway 4 between Farnhamville and Panora are all partially covered in snow and blowing snow.
