Saturday evening winter weather is causing road issues in Greene County.

Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio Highway 30 in Greene County is impassible at this time. There is also a tow ban in place and travel is not advised. He says he and his deputies are responding to multiple vehicles in the ditches and if you are one of them, to have patience as they will get to you, but it will take time. Williams reports they are only able to drive 10-miles-per-hour on the highway due to the heavy snowfall and high winds, which is causing the snow to blow and drift on the roadways.

Raccoon Valley Radio will notify everyone once the tow ban has been lifted.
