The Perry Chamber of Commerce is holding their monthly Chamber Coffee event this Friday, and the host on this occasion will be the Perry School District.
Superintendent Clark Wicks invites attendees to come to the Perry Performing Arts Center at the high school at 8 a.m. for the networking and informational gathering. Following the typical social time with refreshments, Wicks will give attendees a tour of some specific aspects of the high school, including the Computer Aided Design and Development (CADD) program, the $300,000 museum located at the school, and a special secret room that he’s excited to show off. Wicks says he’s eager to host the Chamber Coffee event, particularly to show the benefit of the school being a Chamber member. “The big thing for the Perry Community Schools and the Chamber is to realize that connection. Because what the Chamber does to promote Perry also helps the Perry Schools, helps that foundation of attracting people and making Perry a stronger community.”
Wicks adds, parking for Chamber Coffee attendees should be available in the lot just to the west of the Performing Arts Center. Also, in addition to the surprise during the tour, he promises a surprise treat to be included among the refreshments. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
