The Friends of the Perry Public Library are bringing back their popular “Trivia with Friends” event this week, with a theme of “March Madness.”

The event will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at La Poste. Participants can register ahead of time or at the door, as either an individual or a team of up to eight people. The cost to participate is $10 per person, with all proceeds used to fund programs and other purchases for the library. Attendees are also encouraged to wear the garb of their favorite collegiate team, and enjoy the March-themed trivia. Drinks and food will be available for purchase, as will “mulligans,” which allow teams to get a free answer in each round.

Additionally, the rescheduled Sesquicentennial Trivia hosted by the Perry Chamber of Commerce has been set for Thursday, March 21st. It will have a similar structure to “Trivia with Friends,” and teams can sign up for it now. For more information about either trivia event, stop in or call the library at 515-465-3569.
