Experienced storm spotters and newcomers are invited to attend the annual storm spotter training class this month in Guthrie County.

The National Weather Service Des Moines Office and Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency are offering this class on Wednesday March 20th from 7-9 p.m. at the Menlo Community Building. It features a multimedia presentation on identifying and reporting severe weather, spotter safety, severe weather climatology in Iowa, and more. The class is free and open to the public, and registration is not required.
