The registration deadline for Little League Baseball and Softball through the Greene County Youth Athletic Association (GCYAA) is fast approaching.

There are a variety of leagues for boys and girls to join. The T-Ball League is for pre-kindergarten to kindergarten aged kids, next is the Minor League for those in first and second grades. Third and fourth graders can join the American League and Major League is for fifth and sixth graders. Cost to participate is $40 per player, with a late fee attached to registrations after February 28th. There are also Jefferson Rotary scholarships available for those who need financial assistance, so that all kids have the opportunity to participate.

Interested individuals can register online by going to their website gcyaa.org and filling out an online application form. The deadline to sign up for spring ball is March 8th.
