A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the majority of the day today.

According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory will remain in effect until 6pm today for Greene, Dallas and Guthrie counties. All three counties could see between one to three inches of snowfall and then a transition to light freezing drizzle this afternoon and into the early evening hours. As snow moves into the listening area, motorists are urged to be aware of plow crews out treating the roads locally and on state highways. Most plow crews will begin their operations once there is over an inch of accumulated snowfall.
