Greene County Extension is offering a private pesticide applicator recertification class.

It will be on Tuesday, March 12th from 5:30 to 6:30pm at the Extension office in Jefferson. The training is for any agricultural crop producer that applies restricted-use pesticide on properties they own or rent. Attendees are asked to bring the brochures that were mailed to them in December that has their certification number. If you don’t have the brochure, bring your most up-to-date applicator license, which includes your certification number. This is a recertification course only, those who have not yet been certified can not take the training.

Registration begins at 4:30pm and the class will start at 5:30 with no late entries permitted. Home State Bank will sponsor free snacks. Pre-registration is not required. Contact the Extension office with any questions.
