The ADM Boys’ and Girls’ Track teams spent their Saturday in Storm Lake at Buena Vista Co-Ed Invitational.  The Tigers had another strong showing this weekend.

For the Boys’, their headlining athletes on Saturday were Lucas Heitz, who won the 200 meter dash on Saturday with a time of 24.97 seconds, and Nate Mueller who also finished first in the 800 meter dash with his time of 2:06.02.  ADM also won the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:42.07

ADM also saw solid performances from Ethan Juergens, who placed second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 54.29, Senior, Lucas Heitz also finished fourth in that same event, Brandon Hegarty with his third place finish in the 800 meter recorded a time of 2:14.59, and Alex Kirkpatrick finished fifth in the 200 meter dash with his time of 25.62 seconds.  The Tigers also notched a top 5 finish in the High Jump from Tate Stine-Smith with his fourth place finish.  ADM placed second in the 1600 meter sprint medley.

Other Top 10 finishes for the ADM Boys’ include; ninth place finish in the 60 meter from Colton Pirtle, a second place finish in the 4×60 relay, a seventh place finish in the 4×200 relay,  and a seventh place finish in the 4×800 meter relay event.

For the Girls’, their leading performer was again, Freshman, Olivia Tollari.  For the Tigers, Tollari was the third place finisher in the 400 meter dash with her time of 1:04.59, she also placed fourth in the long jump, as well.

Tollari wasn’t the only star for the Girls’ on Saturday, Hannah Welch also gave ADM an individual Top 10 finish in the 1500 meter dash as she notched the sixth place position, along with Anna Friesth with her tenth place finish in the 200 meter dash.

Other ADM Girls’ Top 10 finishes include a second place finish in the 4×200 relay, a seventh place finish in the 4×400 relay, and a fourth place finish in the 4×800 meter relay

Saturday’s performance was the second solid showing for ADM track this week.  The Tigers also had an impressive collective effort on Tuesday at the Wartburg Invitational in Waverly.

ADM Boys’ and Girls’ Track is back in action on Saturday in Dubuque.
