Today marks the final indoor track and field meet of the season for the Greene County boys. Coach Chad Morton will take a partial squad to Lamoni for the 2019 Jenner Indoor Invitational. It’s a coed meet, but only the Greene County boys are going. Coach Morton competed in track & field in the 1990’s at Graceland. The meet is named after 1976 Olympic Decathlon Gold medalist Bruce Jenner, a Graceland College graduate.

Coach Morton said the sprinters and jumpers, and possibly throwers, will compete at Lamoni. He added it’s a chance to see teams from a part of the state the Rams don’t ordinarily see. And, it’s a final competition before the outdoor season begins.

The Rams are scheduled to host their Earlybird Coed Meet on Monday, March 25 in Jefferson at Linduska Field at 4:30 p.m.
