From economic development to youth programs, Guthrie County Extension and Outreach seeks to know what its residents want in future programming.

Guthrie County Extension offers a needs assessment survey every five years to determine programming needs. The online survey asks people to rate topics in agriculture business and production, human sciences, and more. Extension Programming Coordinator Krista Downing explains why they need the public’s input, “We are here to serve the community, so if we’re doing programs that they don’t want to see, then what’s the point of us being here? So we want to know what they want to see so that we can do programs and give them programs that they want to see and want to participate in.”

The needs assessment is available online until March 31st, and a link can be found here.
