March can bring unpredictable weather, but the weather couldn’t have turned out closer to perfection than it did Tuesday afternoon in Earlham for the Early Bird Invitational. Sunny, clear skies and 58 degrees.

The ADM Boys’ Track and Field team was in action last night in Earlham for the Early Bird Invitational.

Impressive performances were seen from Lucas Heitz, Nate Mueller, and Colton Pirtle for the Boys’.  Individual Top 5 finishes for ADM were plentiful Tuesday night. Individual Top 5 finishes for the Tigers were recorded, including Lucas Ray with his second place finish in the Long Jump, Sean Kons was fourth in 400 meter dash, Lucas Heitz won the 110 meter hurdles and Heitz also won the 400 meter hurdles, Colton Pirtle finished second in that same event, Caleb Crystal was fourth in 800 meter run, and Sophomore, Nate Mueller was first in the 1600 meter run.

In the relay events, The Tigers were Top 5 finishers in the 800 meter sprint medley, 4×800 meter relay, first place in the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdle, second in the distance medley. ADM was also the winner of the 4×200 meter relay, 4×400 meter relay, and fifth in the 4×100 meter relay event.

The ADM Boys’ Track and Field team is back in action on Friday in Van Meter.
