Dallas County Conservation is hosting an event today that will appeal to explorers of all ages.

The Spring Search event will run from 1-3 p.m. at the Kuehn Conservation Area near Earlham, and attendees will be able to head out into the wilderness to see what they can find. Naturalists will accompany participants on the family-friendly outing, as they look for wildflowers, shed deer antlers, and possibly even morel mushrooms. The activity is free and open to the public, though it is weather dependent and registration is requested. To sign up or to learn more about this and other upcoming Dallas County Conservation events, stop in or call Forest Park Museum at 515-465-3577.
