The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session Monday.
Prior to the regular meeting the Council will receive a presentation on conduct regarding closed sessions at 6 p.m., due to a complaint they received from the Iowa Public Information Board. The regular meeting will then begin with a public hearing for the Community Development Block Grant housing rehab application. The Council will then consider approval of a request for proposals for technical services, and an administrative plan. Next, the Council will consider a resolution to commit match funds and a number of projects, an equal opportunity policy statement, and resolutions regarding prohibition of the use of excessive force, adopting a code of conduct, procurement policy, and a residential anti-displacement and relocation assistance plan. Finally, the Council will hear a department report on summer help and meet with an EMC Insurance representative.
The Council meets at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
