Guthrie County residents are encouraged to safely rid their homes of unwanted or expired medications during National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

Residents can dispose of their unused prescription drugs in the medication disposal receptacle from 7 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Guthrie County Hospital Pharmacy in Guthrie Center. Drug Take-Back Day is held twice annually as an effort to prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.
