
Tuesday, April 23rd
12:36am: While conducting Business Door Checks, an officer located an Open Door at 600 East Lincoln Way Street. The building was secured by the officer.
8:30am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Washington Street.
11:52am: An officer received information that a north facing door was ajar on a vacant property in the 300 Block of North Wilson Ave. The officers secured the door.
1:31pm: A parent spoke to an officer with concerns with her juvenile daughter harming herself by “Cutting.” The officer transported the child to the GCMC ER to be evaluated by a medical doctor.
2:44pm: Janon Olson advised of a neighborhood dog constantly barking in the 600 Block of North Olive Street.
3:45pm: A Traffic Stop at Wilcox and Chestnut Streets resulted in Michael Thompson of Jefferson being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”
6:00pm: An officer spoke to the resident at 303 North Pinet Street about a vehicle parked in the street for a long period of time. The owner advised he would remove the vehicle off of the street.
6:10pm: Kathy Morain advised of a Barking Dog in the 500 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer spoke to the owner of the animal, who advised he would work to end the issue.
6:11pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 400 Block of Brackett Street.
6:30pm: After receiving an anonymous tip, an officer spoke with a male at 107 West Madison Street about an Outstanding Arrest Warrant form Warren County. The officer checked and was advised that Warren County would not extradite the male for their warrant. The officer advised the male subject to go take care of his warrant with Warren County.
6:54pm: Gayle Pike spoke with an officer about Harassing Text Messages she was receiving from a male in Dana. The officer contacted the male and advised him to end the unwanted contact.
Wednesday, April 24th
1:11am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Grimmell Road resulted in Tina Wayland of Carroll being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”
1:35pm: Roger Carlson reported a loud vehicle driving daily in the 600 Block of South Chestnut Street.
9:24pm: The White Oak Station reported a Gas Drive Off from 303 North Elm Street. The store provided a vehicle and driver description to the officer.
10:49pm: Taylor Gruber advised of two juvenile males cursing and yelling at her as she walked her dog near Russell Park. The teens left in a vehicle as she called police. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
******* An officer has requested Arrest Warrants at the conclusion of an investigation. Megan Ann Stuhr, 24 of Fort Dodge is accused of writing checks to two local businesses using stolen checks. The warrant request is for “(2) Counts of Forgery – D Felony, (2) Counts of Identity Theft Under $1000.00-Aggravated, and (1) Count Theft 5th Degree – Simple.”
