
Applications for the Alliant Energy Foundation’s Hometown Safety Grants are now available.
The Hometown Safety Grant is for entities or projects that serve or protect a community. Those entities include law enforcement or fire departments, schools, libraries, and other public service organizations. The applicant must be a 501(c)3 organization or affiliated with a city, town or local government. Grant amounts range between $500 to $2,000 and are used for a one-time safety-related project that benefits a wide range of people.
Last year, Alliant Energy Foundation gave away $65,000 to 58 organizations. Those that qualify must be in an Alliant Energy service territory. The deadline to apply for this grant is May 1st. To learn more about it or to apply, click the link below.
