
Thursday, April 25th
12:46am: An officer located an Open Door at 1000 North Cedar Street. The building was secured by the officer.
8:42am: John Lewis advised of two dogs running loose near Maple and State Streets. The animals were tied out on their property when the officer arrived.
10:44am: Clifton Long requested assistance at Daubendiek Park. He and his adult son had argued and the son walked into the woods and was possibly suicidal. The officers were assisted by deputies and the subject was located a few minutes later. He advised he was fine and was allowed to go on his way.
6:41pm: Josh Koopman advised of unwanted text messages he was receiving from an ex-girlfriend. The officer contacted the female and advised her to end the contact with Koopman.
7:48pm: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of East Harrison Street resulted in Tanisha Rice of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”
8:03pm: A caller advised of an Open Door at an empty residence that is for rent in the 700 Block of West State Street. The officer secured the door and advised the property owner of the issue.
9:23pm: Lacy Binkley advised of some teenagers yelling at her and her daughter as they walked in the 500 Block of South Wilson Ave. The officer spoke to juveniles parked in the area, who advised they were singing along with RAP Music, not yelling at anyone. The officer advised them to quiet down or leave the area.
10:48pm: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 403 West South Street.
