Juan Duane Harrison, age 56 of 613 Polk St., De Soto was arrested at this address for OWI and domestic abuse assault.

Cody Michael Hawbaker, age 28 of 17178 358th Pl., Earlham was arrested in the 33000 block of L Ave., Adel for OWI.

Robert Vandyke of Ames was traveling north on Highway 17 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Gage Smith of Waukee who was traveling east on State St. and did not see the stop sign and crossed into the highway. No injuries reported. Damage to Vandyke’s vehicle estimated at $3000.00 and Smith’s was $10,000.00. Smith was cited for failure to obey stop sign.
