The Stuart Revitalization Group is cooking up something savory for this fall, and they’re seeking the community’s creativity in branding the event.

The group is holding a contest to find a name for a Stuart BBQ event being planned for September 20-21. BBQ Committee member Russ Wagner says Stuart must be in the title but beyond that the sky is the limit. This is a family event so ideas must be appropriate. Wagner Investment and Retirement Advisors LLC. has pledged $100 to the winner and a $100 donation to the local food bank to the winning name chosen by the committee. Deadline for entries is May 21st with the winner being selected on May 24th. One entry is allowed per person and submission is limited to West Central Valley School District residents.
