
Last Thursday, the ADM Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field teams competed in the Raccoon River Conference Track and Field meet with the other seven members in the RRC at Carroll High School.
Both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams brought home a second place finish for the Tiger faithful.
The ADM Girls’ placed first in the 800 meter sprint medley relay. For the Lady Tigers, they also saw first place finishes in individual events by Anna Kenny in the 400 meter hurdles, and in the 100 meter hurdles. Olivia Tollari also finished first in the 200 meter sprint, and grabbed first place for ADM in the Girls’ Long Jump.
The ADM’ Girls’ team finished with 153 total team points at their conference meet.
For the ADM Boys’ Track team, they finished second, as well, with 140 total team points on Thursday in the RRC meet.
The ADM Boys’ saw first place finishes in the 1600 meter run by Nate Mueller, as he also won the 3200 meter run for the Tigers. In the relay events, ADM grabbed the Boys’ Distance Medley. The Tigers also had several top 5 finishes in individual events from Lucas Heitz, and Ethan Juergens, among others.
The ADM Track teams will run in district action on Thursday at DC-G High School in Grimes.
