On Friday, Dana Brown’s ADM Girls’ Golf team made the trip to Atlantic for an all-day tournament with a total of eleven teams in competition at Nishna Hills Golf Course in Atlantic.

Brown was impressed with her young team’s resiliance and improvement from the beginning of the season six weeks ago. The Tigers have won three meets this spring, and although they didn’t win Friday’s tournament in Atlantic, ADM’s scores consistently improve, as a whole, from meet to meet.

The ADM Girls’ Golf team finished eighth on Friday, of the eleven total teams. The Tigers shot a team total of 411 strokes, just five strokes away from being fifth place, rather than eighth.

The hosting school, Atlantic took first place in the tournament with a team total of 341 strokes, followed by Carroll at 362, and Creston at 365 in third place.

Liv Rickert led the Tigers with her best round of the year, as she carded a 95. Creston’s Rylie Driskoll was the medalist on Friday, as she shot a 72, 3 over par in Atlantic.

ADM Girls’ Golf will be back in action on Friday at Colfax-Mingo.
