
The ADM Tigers Girls’ Golf team finished in fifth place in the RRC Conference Meet earlier this week.
ADM finished with a team total of 431 strokes between their four Varsity scores reported for the Tigers.
Carroll finished first in the Conference Meet with their team total of 371, Winterset was second at 407, Ballard placed third with a 422, Carlisle slipped just ahead of ADM in fourth at 423. Two schools finished behind ADM, incluidng Bondurant-Farrar and Perry.
Considering the state of the ADM Girls’ Golf program last season, for ADM to finish in a competitive fifth place position is leaps and bounds ahead of where the program was at last season.
First year Head Coach, Dana Brown, had two of her players named to the Raccoon River Conference Girls’ Golf All-Conference Team. Liv Rickert and Monica Thomas were the Tigers pride on the All-Conference team for ADM.
The Lady Tigers will have two more meets to compete in before Regional Postseason play begins on May 20.
Today, the ADM Girls’ Golf team will be back in action at Colfax-Mingo, with Eddyville-Blakeburg-Fremont, PCM, and Southeast Warren. Today’s meet in Colfax will tee off at 4:00pm.
