The Adel summer concert series known as “Rock’N Friday” will kick off this week, with a free show for the whole community.
The show is organized by the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by Raccoon River Rental. The musical guests will be the band “Nice Bangs,” with the concert running from 7-10 p.m. It will be held at the Adel Stage and Pavillion, located on the northwest corner of 10th and Main streets. The Rock’N Friday concert series is part of the Chamber’s new “Adel Advantage” campaign, as they seek to help residents and businesses discover the diverse advantages of living, working, and playing in the City. There is no cost to attend the concert, though people should bring their own seating and beverages. The Chamber says alcoholic beverages will be permitted, but ask that people not bring glass bottles and that they keep the drinks confined to the pavillion area.
