The West Central Valley School Board met in regular session Wednesday.

The meeting began with a public hearing and approval of the fiscal year 2019 budget amendment as presented. Next, the Board approved trip requests from FFA Instructor Molly Dolch for a leadership retreat this summer and a trip to Ireland in 2021. The Board also approved two overnight trip requests for the girls basketball team this summer. Next, the Board approved an annual agreement with Madison County Career Academy, which is largely used for their certified nursing assistant program, and an agreement with Southwestern Community College for a history and communication class.

The Board then approved the 2019 list of graduates, the 2019-2020 Area Education Agency food purchasing agreement, and technology purchases for a network switch and for movement of cables to add displays in classrooms. Finally, the Board held an exempt session for a compensation discussion for non-master contract employees, and a closed session regarding student discipline.
