Mini bell tower

Everyone is invited to a special event on the downtown square in Jefferson tomorrow.

Jefferson Matters: Main Street and the Tower View Team Committee are hosting an “Art Stroll” in celebration of all the public art pieces on the square. Attendees can view the Ring Out for Art sculptures on the northside of the Greene County Courthouse, there are also three mini bell towers located on three of entryways to the alleys on the square, along with a public piano that was painted by the Greene County High School art students and the newest rooftop art on top of Unger Insurance.

It is a self-guided tour that begins at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center, where people can pick up a brochure and tour the downtown square at their own pace. Plus, some of the artists will be on hand to explain their creations. It will take place from 5 to 7pm and it is free and open to the public.
