If weather allows, the Greene County High School baseball team will play today in the Kuemper Catholic tournament in Carroll. The Greene County softball team was scheduled to play in the South Hamilton tournament today, but that was cancelled Friday due to wet grounds and poor field conditions.

Coach John Hupp’s baseball Rams have lost seven of their last eight games and stand at 5-14 overall. They play at Merchant’s Park in Carroll at the Kuemper Catholic Tournament. First up is Pocahontas Area (13-3), followed by a game with the host Knights (10-11).

It’s back in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play on Monday at Nevada for both Greene County baseball and softball.
