The West Central Valley Baseball team had a rough week against very stiff competition.

The Wildcats faced some of the better teams in the area including Woodward-Granger, CAM from Anita, and Des Moines Christian.  Each opponent West Central Valley faced this week has the talent of strong batters, and even better pitching.

WCV Baseball Coach, Nick Weinmeister has been using some of his younger pitchers from the younger classes of eighth graders and Freshmen.  Weinmeister believes getting young pitchers this type of Varsity experience so early in their high school careers will create for a “win-win” situation in seasons to come.

West Central Valley Baseball has the weekend off, and will return to the diamond on Monday night for an evening conference game at Madrid.
