A reminder that there will be free fireworks later tonight in Jefferson.

The City of Jefferson has partnered with Wild Rose Casino and Resorts in Jefferson to shoot off fireworks tonight. It will be held at the casino and they contract with J&M Displays for the fireworks. It will start around dusk and should last for about 30 minutes. The City provides $3,000, while the casino contributes $7,000. 

It is free to attend and parking is also free in the Wild Rose parking lot. Avoid parking on highways 30 and 4 and remember that the surrounding parking lots are privately owned.
