Don’t forget, the Perry Fine Arts Committee is holding the final event in their 2018-19 concert series today, with their annual Fourth of July Music Extravaganza and Ice Cream Social.

The entertainment for this year’s show will be an assortment of performers from around the Perry area. The committee invited the community to join in their variety show, and around 10 musicians will take the stage at First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. The concert will be around 90-minutes long, and the committee points out that it’s in an air conditioned venue that’s handicap accessible and located downtown. Following the performances, attendees can help themselves to homemade ice cream and other desserts at the church.

There is no cost to attend the concert, though free will donations are always accepted. Any proceeds will go towards funding future Fine Arts shows.
