Funeral services for Richard “Rick” Schaecher, 77, of Greenfield, will be Wednesday, July 10th at 10 am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenfield.  Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery with full military honors.  A luncheon will be held at the church following the services.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 pm to 7 pm at the church.  Family will be present from 5 pm to 7 pm.  Memorials may be left in his name to the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.  Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left at steenfunerals.com.  Survivors include:  Wife, Edie.  Children, Robin of Washington state, Ron of Greenfield and Jenny of Greenfield.  4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Brother, Robert of Omaha, Nebraska.
