A familiar face is returning to Guthrie Center High School this fall.

Superintendent Dennis McClain says former high school principal Garold Thomas is returning to serve as interim principal this coming school year, following Shane Arp’s resignation that was approved by the school board at their June meeting. McClain states personal reasons were cited for Arp’s resignation. Thomas was previously the high school principal until retiring in December 2016.
