The Panorama School Board met in regular session Monday.

The meeting began with the Board tabling action on an athletic field scoreboard purchase. Next, the Board approved contracted services agreements with the Des Moines Area Community College and for Schedule B spring extracurricular contracts. The Board then approved the second reading of several staff personnel policies, approved selecting Anderson Erickson Dairy and Bimbo Bakeries for 2019-2020 milk and bread bids.

The Board also approved Farmers State Bank in Yale and Guthrie County State Bank and Panora State Bank in Panora as the official District depository banks. They also approved the District’s official publications, and permitting payments of 2018-2019 bills received before the August Board meeting. Finally, the Board accepted District Four School Board Director Jon Stetzel’s resignation, as he moved out of the District. They then approved appointing Lila Lutz to fill the vacancy, whose term will end in 2021.
