Hot August Night in Jefferson is less than a week away, and there’s still time to get registered and enter the raffle.

Co-organizer Chuck Wenthold says the registration deadline has passed to get a free t-shirt, but anyone who wishes to show off their vehicle can still sign up for free. Wenthold adds they had over 175 pre-register. 

Something new to the event is a raffle by Greene County Chamber and Tourism. It is a bench made from a late 1950s Dodge truck. The value is $1,200. Tickets are $10 each and three for $25. To purchase tickets and to view the raffle item go to Sensibly Chic on the south side of the downtown square in Jefferson. 

The winner will be announced at Hot August Night on Thursday, August 8th. The winner does not need to be present. The event will be from 4:30-7pm.
