panorama-days-2019-schedule

The annual Panorama Days jets off today with three days of fun on water and land in Panora.

Two local businesses are recognizing anniversaries today: Panora Telco is celebrating 100 years with an open house and Panora State Bank is celebrating 60 years with an ice cream social, both from 5-7 p.m. Today’s festivities also include: a cribbage tournament, chalk the block, farmers market, “Cruise the Loop” car show, kids cake walk, Bill Riley Talent Show, and fireworks. Panora Chamber Member Kristen Crouthamel comments on the longevity of this town celebration, “Panorama Days has been going on for well over 50 years, I believe our 50th anniversary was a year or two ago and for a town our size to have a three day festival with all of this stuff going on is just wonderful.”

Raccoon Valley Radio is broadcasting live from the Big Red Radio from 3-6 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. tomorrow. For more information on this weekend’s events, visit here.
