Wednesday, August 7th

4:38am: HyVee reported the Theft of Alcohol at 106 West Washington Street. The business is providing the officer with video footage of the event for the investigation.

5:10am: Kaytln Stevenson reported the smell of Natural Gas in the 400 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. The officer could not locate the source, or smell the gas himself.

6:06am: A caller advised of the smell of smoke in the 100 Block of North Olive Street. The officer could smell the smoke, but could not locate the source in the area.

8:37pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Head Streets resulted in Autumn Burghardt of Omaha being cited for Excessive Speed.

******** After the completion of an investigation into a Stolen Paycheck from 108 East Central Ave. #66 on 07/24/2019, the officer has requested Arrest Warrants for Cole Anthony Langford, 35 of Des Moines for, “Theft 3 rd Degree – Aggravated and Forgery – D Felony.”
