Tuesday, August 13th

8:32am: Teresa Gaver called in a Theft from her apartment at 1000 West Adams Street. The officer knew Gaver is currently hospitalized and not in Jefferson. No Theft had occurred.

10:26am: A caller advised of two kids at Washington Park, who were banging on the restroom door with a rock. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

3:33pm: The GCMC ER advised of a Cat Bite. The officer learned a young boy was roughhousing with the family’s 14-year-old cat. The cat nipped the boy near the ear. The cat will be Quarantined at the residence for 10 Days. No Animal Ordinances were violated, as the cat was reacting to rough treatment from the youngster.

7:21pm: John Ades reported a careless Driver on 220 th Street, heading west towards Jefferson. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

7:34pm: Tracy Anderson requested an officer contact his ex-girlfriend and advise her she is no longer welcome at his residence of 606 West Washington Street. The officer contacted the female and expressed Anderson’s wishes to her.

9:45pm: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Elm Streets resulted in Sharletha Wiggins of Colfax being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”

11:34pm: Callers advised of hearing an explosion near the 600 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer searched the area and learned the explosion had came from 104 East Clark Street. A large firework had been set off on a window air conditioner at the residence. The residents advised the officer they have been having problems with a male subject and provided the officer a name of the male. The officer is investigating the event.
