The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers hosted a scrimmage against Gilbert Friday night and looked terrific in their first challenge against competition. The Tigers offense scored four touchdowns on the night, and had numerous explosive plays including a 57 yard touchdown pass from Tate Stine-Smith to Zach Fuller. The running game was solid as well with Justice Paulsen breaking multiple runs for massive yards, and Stine-Smith also got into the end zone as well on the ground.
The defense was equally as good as they did not allow a score to Gilbert, they recorded two fumble recoveries, and the pass defense was excellent as well breaking up multiple passes. The defense only gave up one play of 20+ yards all night, and overall looked sharp.
Coach Garrison Carter has to be happy with the first performance of the year, and will look to duplicate their success into this upcoming week as they host Bondurant-Farrar Friday in Adel.
