The ADM Tigers recorded their first win of the season when they defeated Dallas County rival the Perry Bluejays 71-0 Friday night in Perry. The Tigers started hot offensively as they scored on every drive in the first half, with Tate Stine-Smith rushing for three touchdowns in the first quarter as the offense put the pedal to the medal and didn’t look back as the offense scored on every drive in the first half to take a 57-0 lead into the half.
Defensively the Tigers were just as good, as Kaden Sutton had a monster game on the defensive line with five recorded sacks. Senior Colten Pirtle returned an interception for a pick six and helped the defense record a solid shutout over Perry.
The Tigers will definitely enjoy their first victory of the year, and will have a big game upcoming next week when they face Grinnell for Homecoming.
